Safeguarding our children
Safety and Security
Your child’s safety is our foremost concern. Our policies place the safety/security of the child as priority. Please read the following carefully and we look forward to your partnership in making school a safe place for the children. We seek your understanding and cooperation when a staff member approaches/ engages you for safety-related checks.
Visitors to School
Find out what to do before visiting the school. All visitors must register at the gate and wear a pass at all times while on school grounds.
Cars and Other Vehicles
Find out when vehicles are banned from school grounds and where you must not park outside, to keep students safe.
Insurance
Find out about your child's Group Personal Accident insurance cover arranged by the school, including what is covered and how to make a claim.
Emergency Plan
Have a plan for your child's safety during an emergency. Know how students are kept with school staff until it is safe to release them to parents.
Safety Matters
Help your child stay safe at school by teaching them key safety habits — from crossing roads and cycling safely, to what to do during lightning alerts or if they meet a stranger.
